    Affected population Low pathogenic avian influenza H5 was detected 28 June 2019 in a holding with mallards near the village Fuglebjerg in the municipality of N?stved. The population of the holding consists of approximately 3000 mallards. The farm breeds mallards for restocking supplies of game. There had not been clinical signs of the disease among the animals. Mallards were tested in accordance with the Danish surveillance programme for avian influenza in poultry and game birds. All the susceptible animals at the infected holding will be killed and destroyed as soon as possible.
