    Affected population On 26 June 2018, LPAI H5 was detected in samples from a holding with mallards for restocking supplies of game. The population of the holding consisted of 2667 mallard ducklings and 12 hens. The ducklings were tested in accordance with the Danish surveillance programme for avian influenza in poultry. All the animals at the infected holding have been killed and destroyed on 27 June 2018.
