    Opole: Outbreak of bird flu confirmed in the municipality Cisek


    In the commune Cisek in the province. Opole confirmed case of avian influenza. Disease affected a flock of 228 birds. The information the Central Veterinary Officer.
    In a document issued by the Chief Veterinary Officer says that an outbreak of highly pathogenic avian influenza of subtype H5N8 was determined in a holding of 228 poultry located in the town of Carriage (municipality Cisek) based on test results obtained with the CIP-PIB in Pulawy.

    "Veterinary services in the farm implement all procedures of combating provided for in cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in poultry" - written in the message. Opole case is 23, the focus of the disease in Poland.

    So far, the biggest loss on this account recorded in Lubuskie, where there are large poultry farms.

    Veterinary services implement the farms all the procedures to combat provided for in cases of highly pathogenic avian influenza in poultry.
