    An outbreak of avian flu in Lubuskie province.

    In Deszcznie Lubuskie diagnosed with H5N8 flu virus outbreak - said Lubuski Regional Office.
    In its Communication stated that if there were no world cases of the virus this flu among humans.
    As a spokesman for the governor gave Lubuskie Alexander Chmielińska-warm, on a farm in Deszcznie fell approx. 700 geese.Upon detection of the virus, several hundred other live birds will be otherwise disposed of.
    On the farm work firemen and veterinary services.Will be spread out mats and disinfectants to be taken other actions related to the disinfection of the farm - said in an interview with the Polish Press Agency spokesman.
    In connection with the occurrence of the virus it held an extraordinary meeting of the Provincial Crisis Management Team.After the Lubuskie province governor ordered that the infected area - around the fire with a radius of approx. 3 km and a surveillance zone - around the fire with a radius of approx. 10 km.
    In these zones from today will operate the service, guards and inspections.
    "Sanitary Service Lubuskie Province will take action in accordance with the applicable procedures in the event of in Polish avian influenza virus including epidemiological surveillance of contact person" - stated in a press release.
