Suspected Ebola case being treated in D?sseldorf
A man is being treated for a suspected case of Ebola in the German city of D?sseldorf. He has been transported from his home in Bochum to a special isolation unit.
Fire services took the man from his home in the city of Bochum to the University Hospital in D?sseldorf, around 43 kilometers away (27 miles), on Sunday night.

The first results from an examination of the patient are expected late Monday afternoon, according to AFP news agency.
The man reportedly spent time in Guinea. It was not immediately clear if he originated from the West African country.

clear after Ebola suspected: A patient from Bochum is not suffering from the dangerous fever. The man returned from Guinea and was suffering from high fever and diarrhea.
In the case of patients treated for Ebola suspected man from Bochum, there are clear: the patient is not ill with the Ebola virus, the municipalities of Bochum and Dusseldorf informed on Monday. This resulted in an analysis of the Bernhard Nocht Institute for Tropical Medicine in Hamburg. All protective measures both in Dusseldorf, as well as in Bochum could be lifted with it.
The patient had returned from the West African Guinea and had gone with fever and diarrhea in a Bochum hospital. As a disease caused by the treacherous Ebola virus could not be ruled out, the Bochum Health Centre and the Centre for Health have been informed. As a precaution, the man was taken on Sunday night to a special isolation of the University Hospital Dusseldorf.
The station is reported to be completely sealed off from the outside world and has three high infection beds. There is a complete intensive care, including artificial respiration and dialysis is possible. The station also has devices for the control of airflows and for the sterilization of sewage.
When transporting the man special security requirements were considered. The patient was taken to an intensive ambulances from Bochum to Dusseldorf, he was accompanied by six other emergency vehicles of fire department and two police cars.
