    A person is being treated in isolation at Uppsala University hospital in Sweden after suspicion of Ebola contamination, the regional authority has said.

    The individual was admitted to Enk?ping hospital before being transferred to Uppsala. The emergency clinic at Enk?ping has been closed and staff who were in contact with the patient are also being looked after, the authority said on Friday.

    The patient, a young male, was first admitted to the emergency ward at Enk?ping Hospital on Friday, before being transferred to the clinic for infectious diseases at Uppsala University Hospital, said health officials.

    Region Uppsala said in a statement that the test results would "probably come back at some point tonight" and emphasized that Ebola was "still only a matter of suspicion, other diseases are also entirely possible"...

    ...Uppsala chief of medicine Mikael K?hler told regional newspaper UNT that the man had returned to Sweden from a trip to Burundi among other places three weeks ago, but was not understood to have visited any areas affected by active Ebola outbreaks. No other details about him were immediately disclosed...

      The laser law in Enk?ping has received a case of suspected ebolas infection. Ebola is a very serious disease with bleeding symptoms. The emergency room at the hospital is therefore currently closed. The patient is isolated and staff who have met the patient are taken care of.
      The patient is now cared for at the infection clinic at the University Hospital in Uppsala and is isolated.
      Patients who have intended to go to the emergency room at the hospital in Enk?ping are primarily referred to primary care, or the emergency room at the University Hospital in Uppsala. V?stmanland Hospital V?ster?s will also be able to assist.
      Test answers will probably come sometime tonight. Yet it is only a matter of suspicion, even other diseases are quite possible.

        Test result negative: No ebola in Enk?ping

        The man who has been cared for at the University Hospital in Uppsala does not have ebola. It informs Region Uppsala on Friday night.
        At 10.10 pm on Friday evening the message came - the man who sought care at Enk?ping's hospital for, among other things, blood in the stool and vomiting is not affected by Ebola.

        " The young man who went to the Lasaretten in Enk?ping with symptoms that included blood in the stool and vomiting is not infected by Ebola. This shows test results, ”writes Region Uppsala in a press release.

        The report means that the patients who have been forced to stay in the emergency room in Enk?ping no longer need to be kept isolated. On Friday, the man has been cared for at the Academic Hospital in Uppsala.
