423121 suspected (250077 in Central/South America, 1 in North America and 173047 in the Caribbean) and 89033 confirmed cases (82889 autochthonous transmission and 6144 travel related/imported cases) with 25814 confirmed cases in Central/South America, 47948 confirmed cases in the Caribbean and 15271 confirmed cases in North America; at least 3522 cases of microcephaly/ ZIKV associated cognitive infection and 618 cases of GBS as well as 21 ZIKV associated deaths of EW 33/ 17 August per PAHO and national MOH (if available) http://www.paho.org/hq/index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_view&Itemid=2 70&gid=41523&lang=en
