Chad: Yellow fever vaccination campaign continues in Melfi

A yellow fever vaccination caravan was launched on January 15, 2022 in Melfi, Guéra province. It is an initiative of the National Nomadic Health Program of the Ministry of Public Health.
This vaccination campaign follows the detection of a few positive cases of yellow fever in the department of Garada, health district of Melfi. For Dr Anigué Iré Diane, provincial health delegate of Guéra, “a vaccinated person is equal to a protected person”. He invites all the inhabitants to get vaccinated.
