    Human cases: 6565 notified cases with 3809 discarded, 1499 suspected, and 1257 confirmed cases with 394 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 03 May ; the number of discarded and confirmed cases and deaths increased compared to the previous week. In Non-Human Primate (NHP), 6967 notified cases with 1672 discarded, 2273 suspected, 732 confirmed and 2290 "not determined" cases have reported by Brazil MOH as of 03 May, with numbers of confirmed cases increasing. As in the previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of suspected, confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 17/2017. The mortality rate varies between 16.7% and 100% (average:41.32%).
