    Human cases: 5131 notified cases with 2951 discarded, 1023 suspected, and 1157 confirmed cases with 342 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 20 April; the number of both confirmed cases and deaths increased compared to the previous week whereas the number of suspected cases decreased. In Non-Human Primate (NHP), 6396 notified cases with 1470 discarded, 2037 suspected, 711 confirmed and 2178 "not determined" cases have reported by Brazil MOH as of 20 April, with numbers increasing. As in the previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 15/2017 although the number of suspected cases is lower in the 2017-2018. The mortality rate varies between 16.7% and 100% (average:41.38%).
