    Human cases: 4548 notified cases with 2441 discarded, 980 suspected, and 1128 confirmed cases with 328 YFV associated fatalities reported by Brazil MOH as of 05 April; both the number of confirmed cases and YFV associate deaths decreased in numbers compared to previous EW. In Non-Human Primate (NHP, 5838 notified cases with 1261 discarded, 1866 suspected, 691 confirmed and 2020 "not determined" cases have reported by Brazil MOH as of 05 April. As in the previous season, the southeast with Minas Gerais and Sao Paulo is the mostly affected area. Compared to the 2016-2017 YFV season, the number of confirmed cases and YFV associated fatalities is higher in the 2017-2018 when compared to EW 12/2017 although the number of suspected cases is lower in the 2017-2018. The mortality rate varies between 16.7% and 100% (average:41.3%).
