BOSTON —
Two new human cases of West Nile virus have been confirmed in Massachusetts this year, the Massachusetts Department of Public Health said.
One case is in a woman in her 60s with exposure in Middlesex County, and the other is a man in his 50s with exposure in Suffolk County.
These cases bring the total number of confirmed human cases of West Nile virus in the state this season to eight. As a result, risk levels for West Nile virus have been elevated to high in Arlington, Chelsea, Medford and Waltham...

BOSTON —
Health officials announced on Thursday that a Boston resident has tested positive for West Nile virus.
According to the Boston Public Health Commission, the resident, a man in his 50s, is being treated and his condition is improving. He has not recently traveled outside of the city.
The Massachusetts Department of Public Health elevated the West Nile virus risk level in Boston to "high" last month based on mosquito samples...

Two additional people in Massachusetts have tested positive for the West Nile virus (WNV), state officials announced.
The new WNV cases — which were found in two men in their 60s — bring the total number of confirmed human cases to six this season. It is most likely the men were exposed in Worcester County, the Department of Public Health (DPH) said.

Worcester, MASS-- The Massachusetts Department of Public Health announced two more human cases of West Nile virus, now bringing the total number of cases this year to four. All human cases were announced this week. The most recent cases are reported to have been exposed in Hampden and Middlesex counties.
