TWO cases of a travel-related typhoid has been confirmed in Ireland in recent weeks as people begin to take to the skies again after Covid-19.

The illness was confirmed in two people who had returned from overseas, the latest HPSC weekly outbreak report has revealed...

...In Ireland, up to 10 cases of typhoid and six paratyphoid cases are recorded every year.
