Active & Confirmed: Tuberculosis Spreads in Blue Earth County

(Mankato, MN) ? The number of confirmed cases of active tuberculosis in Blue Earth County is growing.
State health officials say there have been three verified TB cases in Blue Earth County so far this year. That equals the total from all of 2017 and reflects the upward trend locally.
From 2014 to 2017 in Blue Earth County, there were 10 active tuberculosis cases, compared to the six total in the 11 years prior.
The latest data also show Nicollet and Rice counties each have one counted TB case so far in 2018...
