      • The kitten was imported from Morocco on 13 October 2013 with a certificate of good health that does not meet the regulatory provisions for the import of domestic carnivores from Morocco.
      • Once in France, the animal stayed a few days with its family until 22 October 2013 and then, it ran away into the neighborhood, where it was taken in successively by two families on 24 and 25 October 2013.
      • Following the confirmation of the diagnosis, a regulatory area has been established in order to limit domestic carnivores? movements, to establish an enhanced surveillance and to enhance the capture of stray animals.
      • Carnivores non properly vaccinated that may have been in contact with the case will be euthanized.
      • Carnivores properly vaccinated that may have been in contact with the case will be clinically monitored for 6 months.
