    SANDUSKY, Ohio - UPDATE 10:30 a.m.

Erie County Health Commissioner Peter Schade said there are 13 confirmed cases of the norovirus among the California RNC Logistical Support Team.

Schade said there have been no new cases in the last 36 hours. The California RNC Logistical Support Team has been very good with hygiene, he said, and the Kalahari Resort has been great with being trained and prepared for such an event.

According to Schade, three fecal samples sent out to Columbus to be tested were confirmed to have the norovirus.

While California delegates have not reported any symptoms, 11 of their staffers are confined to their rooms at Kalahari resort after becoming sick with thenorovirus.
"Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear."
