Health unit reports one case of invasive meningococcal disease

The Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) has received lab confirmation of a case of invasive meningococcal disease on Friday.
BHCHU says the case is currently being hospitalized.
The unit also says they have notified any high-risk contacts, and no secondary cases or spread has been associated with the case.
But as a precaution, residents are asked to lookout for symptoms including sudden fever, drowsiness, irritability, and vomiting – symptoms develop two to 10 days after exposure...
