AIDS claims over 1,000 lives in UP
Lucknow: As many as 1,039 people have died of AIDS in Uttar Pradesh in the past one year, Health Minister Anant Kumar Singh informed the State Assembly on Tuesday.
He said in a written reply that though there is no separate scheme under State Government consideration for AIDS-afflicted persons, it has adopted the Centre?s programmes to control the disease.
