FLORENCE, Ore. ? Lane County health officials are warning the public about an HIV outbreak in Florence.
This comes about a week after Lane County reported a spike in syphilis cases.
Health officials say it?s not unusual. When one sexually transmitted disease spikes, others are likely to follow.
So far, there are five confirmed cases of HIV in Florence. This is the largest cluster the city has seen in at least a decade.
