    Arkansas region sees 4th hepatitis incident since February

    JONESBORO, Ark. (AP) ? Medical personnel in northeast Arkansas have vaccinated more than 230 people for hepatitis after the state's warning that a local restaurant employee tested positive for the virus.

    The Jonesboro Sun reports that 235 people received vaccinations at the Craighead County Local Health Unit by Thursday. The unit will also hold walk-in vaccinations Friday for free...

    ADH warns of possible Hepatitis A exposure in Walnut Ridge

    WALNUT RIDGE (KATV) ? The Arkansas Department of Health is warning the public about a possible Hepatitis A exposure at a gas station in Walnut Ridge.

    The ADH says an employee of the Doublebee's gas station located in the 1003 bock of Highway 63 in Walnut Ridge tested positive for the virus.

    The department says anyone who ate at this facility between April 7 and April 18, 2018 should seek care if they have never been vaccinated.

    The Lawrence County Local Health Unit in Walnut Ridge will hold a walk-in clinic to provide vaccinations from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 25.

    The Health Unit is located at 1050 W Free St.

    In 2018, 13 cases of Hep A have been reported in this outbreak. Five of the 13 cases have included food service workers...
