Health officials in North Platte are urging the public to be on the lookout for hand, foot and mouth disease. It seems the illness is cropping up a little earlier in the year than usual.
?We usually don?t see it until the summer months,? said Dr. Melissa Mosel, pediatrician at Great Plains Pediatrics. ?That?s when the virus seems to go around, but that doesn?t mean it can?t happen earlier.?...
