E. coli outbreak sickens 7 people; South Carolina daycare voluntarily closes for cleaning

COLUMBIA, South Carolina ? A South Carolina daycare is temporarily closing after seven cases of E. coli were traced to the center and at least one child appeared to have died from a disease caused by the bacteria.

The Learning Vine in Greenwood is thoroughly cleaning its daycare after the outbreak, according to a statement released Monday by the center...

COLUMBIA, S.C. (AP) ? Health officials say testing has found three more cases of E. coli from an outbreak at a Greenwood day care center that has now sickened 11 and killed a 2-year-old boy.
