Health; A joint press conference was held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture on the developments of hemorrhagic fever
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health, Dr. Saif Al-Badr, announced during a joint press conference of the government media cell affiliated with the General Secretariat of the Council of Ministers and all concerned government media formations, held at the headquarters of the Ministry of Agriculture, that (55) cases of hemorrhagic fever were recorded, more than half of them in Dhi Qar and (12) Half of them died in Dhi Qar, and more than half of the injuries recovered.
Al-Badr pointed out that the role of the Ministry of Health is the early detection of cases through the central public health laboratory, follow-up of suspected cases in isolation wards, and the provision of necessary medical care to the injured, stressing the need to take preventive measures by sheep and livestock breeders and by citizens.
Al-Badr added that the role of the Ministry of Agriculture, the Municipality of Baghdad and the security authorities is to combat the disease-carrying insect by veterinarians and prevent random carrots.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Health confirmed that the issue of hemorrhagic fever is followed up on a daily basis by the Minister of Health and the departments of the Ministry's headquarters and its visits to Dhi Qar Governorate and other governorates.
He called on the media to derive sober information from authorized official sources, and not to be intimidated, as well as not to be indifferent to the truth, wishing everyone safety.
For his part, Mr. Haider Majid, Director of the Government Information and Communication Office, confirmed that the issue of hemorrhagic fever occupies Iraqis and the media, and that the Government Media Cell has clarified the truth to the citizens, and he thanked the Ministry of Health and its staff for their honorable stance in managing the crisis as in the Corona crisis.

The health teams in the areas within the geographical area of the Hashemite sector of the Babil Health Department, in coordination with the concerned departments in the judiciary, represented (the district office, health care sector, veterinary clinic, municipality, agriculture, environment, national security and police) carried out a campaign in the markets of the Hashemite District Center to raise awareness about Hemorrhagic fever disease.
The Babel Health Department stated that the campaign included butchers' shops and the Hashemite massacre, where the butchers were notified and pledges were taken not to slaughter outside the massacre.
The campaign was accompanied by an emphasis on the need to adhere to preventive health measures, the most important of which is wearing masks and paws, and maintaining the cleanliness and sterilization of their stores daily to limit the spread of disease and to ensure the safety of all.
