    Suspected cholera in Bocoio

    The authorities of the municipality of Belo Monte and the village of Fasil, 102 kilometers northeast of the city of Benguela, investigate, since the beginning of the week just ended, a resurgence of suspected cholera outbreak in the locality.

    Patients have symptoms like vomiting and diarrhea, which already caused two deaths, one in the municipality of Belo Monte and the other in the village of Fasil.

    Nicholas Silongua not always explained that the diarrhea and vomiting are associated with cholera, as communities interpret and can treat themselves to a mild cleansing of the stomach and intestines, a disease often caused by consumption of unclean water.
