    CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WICS/WCCU) ? The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is reporting a local case of measles, as of Thursday afternoon.

    The individual with measles, which was infectious at the time it was reported, was at the locations listed below. Two hours have been added to the time after the individual left.

    Locations:

    Jan. 12 (3 p.m. - close) : Texas Roadhouse on N. Country Fair Drive in Champaign
    Jan. 13 (3 p.m. - close) : Texas Roadhouse on N. Country Fair Drive in Champaign
    Jan. 14 (5:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.) : County Market on W. Kirby in Champaign
    Jan. 14 (10 a.m. - 2 p.m.) : University of Illinois Psychology Building on East Daniel Street in Champaign

    Second case of measles confirmed in Champaign-Urbana

    A second person in Champaign-Urbana is confirmed to have contradicted measles, according to the Champaign-Urbana Public Health Department.

    CHAMPAIGN ? The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District is reporting a second local case of measles, with both of the infected people connected to the University of Illinois.

    But there's no reason to believe they know each other since the virus lingers in the air for two hours after the infectious person has left, said health district Administrator Julie Pryde.

    "Both cases in this situation were non-immune persons, but the overall Champaign-Urbana community is highly immunized," Pryde said...

    ➜ Jan. 28: 9:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. at UI School of Social Work.
    ➜ Jan. 29: 3 to 6 p.m. at UI School of Social Work.
    ➜ Jan. 31: 7:30 to 9:30 p.m. at Carle Foundation Hospital Emergency Department.

    ➜ Jan. 28: 9 a.m. to noon, MTD #22 Bus.

    ➜ Jan. 28: 2:30 to 5:30 p.m., MTD #22 Bus.

      Two More Measles Cases Reported In Champaign-Urbana

      The Champaign-Urbana Public Health District said in a news release Sunday that two more cases of measles have been reported in the area, bringing the total number of cases to four so far this year.

      CUPHD said the third case was in quarantine the entire time the disease was infectious, so they don't believe it was spread to anyone else. But they said it's possible the person with the fourth case spread it to other individuals at the times and places listed below:

      Thursday 2/7, 5:30-8:30pm, Texas Roadhouse, 204 N. Country Fair Dr., Champaign.
      Sunday 2/10, 7:00-9:10pm, Save-A-Lot, 220 N. Broadway Ave., Urbana.
      Monday 2/11-Thursday 2/14, 1:00-5:30pm, Urbana Early Childhood School, 2202 E. Washington, Urbana
      Tuesday 2/12, 5:00-7:30pm, Carle Urbana on Windsor, Convenient Care, 1818 E. Windsor Road, Urbana...

        Officials release list of places visited by person infected with measles

        A person infected with the measles is reported to have visited more than a dozen north suburban locations in the past week and a half, as well as two in Chicago.

        The confirmed case of measles was reported Tuesday in the north suburbs, according to the Cook County Department of Public Health.

        Although the person is no longer infectious, the department published the person?s recent travel history for others who may have been exposed. It includes a dinnertime visit March 19 to the Greek Islands Restaurant, 200 S. Halsted St. and the Nederlander Theatre, 24 W. Randolph St., that same night...

          Case of measles confirmed in Kane County

          KANE COUNTY, Ill. ? A case of measles has been confirmed in Kane County.

          The health department says the patient?s illness was confirmed Tuesday.

          The patient is no longer infectious but visited several stores and restaurants on May 20th in Geneva and Saint Charles and may have exposed others.

          Those locations include:

          At Home store, 2100 S. Randall Road, Geneva, between 5:30 and 8 p.m.
          Best Buy, 1876 S. Randall Road, Geneva, between 5:45 and 8:05 p.m.
          Colonial Cafe, 552 Randall Road, St. Charles, between 6:05 and 9:05 p.m.

              CHICAGO - Public health officials are working to track down people who may have been exposed to the measles virus after confirming that a recent traveler to Chicago was infected with the disease.

              The traveler visited Mr. Greek Gyros, 234 S. Halsted St., in Greektown between 12:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. Dec. 12, the Chicago Department of Public Health said in a statement. They also went to a Starbucks, 515 N. State St., in Near North between 1:30 p.m. and 5 p.m. that same day.

              The traveler visited two terminals at O’Hare International Airport as well, officials said. They were at Terminal 3 between 3:30 and 7 p.m. Dec 12 and at Terminal 1 between 4:30 and 8 p.m. Dec. 17...
