A health warning has been issued for the far north coast of NSW after a confirmed case of measles travelled through the area.
A Queenslander visited Mullumbimby while infectious over the weekend (November 2-3).
People who may have visited the IGA or the Liberty Petrol Station could have been exposed.
The exact times and locations that the infectious person visited are below.

Health authorities say the timing “couldn’t be worse” as a major measles outbreak takes hold in Brisbane’s south, centring around a local school.
Metro South Hospital and Health Service said there were 23 confirmed cases of measles from Brisbane's southside, Logan and Redland Coast areas.
The outbreak is centred around two families, including adults and children, with authorities saying they have confirmed the outbreak originated with the New Zealand outbreak presently active in that country.
Metro South public health physician Dr Kari Jarvinen said the outbreak had taken root in Queensland's south-east, after infecting a relatively large number of people...

THE Department of Health has issued another measles alert for Perth, the 54th measles notification this year to date.
More than half of those (28) have been reported since the end of September.
Individuals should remain vigilant for the onset of measles symptoms for the next three weeks if they are not immune to measles and were present at the following venues, during the specified days and times:

A new measles alert has been issued for Perth after an infected person visited two childcare centres and several cafes.
The Department of Health confirmed on Sunday that the person picked up the infection during a holiday in New Zealand, then visited several public spaces in Perth between October 14 and 19.
The latest alert follows a series of outbreaks in Western Australia, stretching from Perth's southern suburbs up to a mine site in the Pilbara.
The latest person to be infected visited the following places, according to the Department of Health.

It's the second case in just three weeks across our region.
The person was unknowingly infectious while travelling on a Sunbus at these times:

People who visited Skydive in Portsmith may also have had a small risk of being exposed to the virus...

A new measles scare has swept through WA, this time hitting the South West and parts of Perth after an exposed resident returned form a holiday in Thailand.
An alert has been issued to people who were in several stores in Bunbury and sites in West Perth and Balga between October 8 and 10...
...The resident who returned from Thailand this month is understood to have been at Perth Airport on October 8 from 5.30am to 8am, before jumping on a TransWa bus from East Perth to Bunbury, which departed at 9am.
Authorities have also listed possible exposures on October 9 about 2pm at the Terry White Chemist Bunbury Plaza.
On October 10 it’s understood the traveller was at IGA Balga between 10-10.30pm and Aberdeen Auto Auctions in West Perth from 1pm to 3pm.
On Monday, the traveller returned to Bunbury Plaza and was in the Woolworths between 12 and 12.30pm...

WA's measles outbreak reaches Pilbara mine site

Perth's measles outbreak has spread to a Pilbara mine site following reports a fly-in, fly-out worker infected with the virus was diagnosed by camp medical staff on Saturday.
The number of measles cases recorded in the state has reached 41 so far in 2019, with a spike in those infected in the Rockingham area earlier this month.
The Department of Health has sent a letter to Fortescue Metals Group employees stating an employee was diagnosed with measles at FMG's Christmas Creek mine site.
It warned anyone who had been on site between October 2-12, or at Perth Airport or Cloudbreak airport on October 2, could have come into contact with the airborne virus...

THE Kiwi measles outbreak has hit the Gold Coast again.
A spokesman from Gold Coast Health Unit said a passenger was diagnosed with the deadly virus shortly after arrival on a flight from New Zealand on Sunday.
“This person was exposed to measles while visiting New Zealand,” a heath spokesman said...
...The weekend’s infected individual arrived at Gold Coast Airport on Sunday at 9.55am on flight VA110 from Auckland and was diagnosed shortly after arrival.
People at the airport around the time of arrival, and the public in general, should be alert for symptoms of measles over the next three weeks, authorities said...

Two new measles cases found in Victoria

Two people have been diagnosed with measles in Melbourne and visited key tourist locations.
A person who had visited New Zealand and a traveller who had been in Laos and Thailand are the latest people identified as carrying the infectious illness, Victoria's chief health officer confirmed on Tuesday.
The pair - who are unrelated to each other or previous cases - visited popular locations in Melbourne including the zoo, David Jones in the Bourke Street Mall and cafes in late September and early October.
They also caught the route 58, 86 and 96 trams as well as a Scoot Flight from Singapore...

A total of 17 people have now been diagnosed with measles in Perth in a growing outbreak that reached WA from New Zealand last month.
The health department said today that four more people were confirmed to have the highly contagious disease over the weekend.
The majority of people who have caught measles since an infected Kiwi tourist visited Perth about three weeks ago live in the Rockingham area.
One of the confirmed cases is a woman who travelled from the 2.20pm flight from Auckland to Perth on September 23.
Communicable disease experts are warning others who were on Air New Zealand flight NZ 175 on September 23 to be on alert to the risk of them developing measles...

A Measles Alert Has Been Issued for Sydney’s Northern Suburbs
An infectious person visited a number of locations between Thursday September 25 and Monday September 30.
NSW Health has issued another measles warning, this time for suburbs in Sydney’s north. An infected person contracted the illness either in Brazil or New Zealand and visited a number of locations while infectious.
Some of the locations they visited between September 25 and September 30 while infectious are: Macquarie Shopping Centre; Royal North Shore Hospital, St Leonards; Macquarie University Station; Epping Station; North Ryde Station; Chicken on Oxford, Epping; Coles, Pacific Epping; Harvey Norman, North Ryde; and Domayne, North Ryde.
None of the locations pose a current ongoing risk but NSW Health reminds people who visited the area on those dates to be alert for measles symptoms until Wednesday October 19. It can take up to 18 days for symptoms to present following exposure...

Measles warning for QLD after New Zealand travellers visit Sunshine Coast, Mooloolaba

Two Australians have sparked measles scares across Queensland after travelling from New Zealand, where there is a current outbreak.
A Sunshine Coast man and a woman, whose address is unknown, both returned from New Zealand with measles in the last week.
The Sunshine Coast Hospital and Health Service (SCHHS) says the man was was unknowingly infectious while visiting the Peregian area.
The SCHHS says he visited the following areas while infectious:
Peregian Beach Hotel on Friday, 27 September between 5pm and 6.30pm
Peregian Springs Shopping Centre, Sunday, 29 September between 10am-11.30pm.
A second case of measles was reported in Mooloolaba after a woman arrived in Brisbane from Queenstown, New Zealand and stayed at the Peninsular Beachfront Resort over the weekend.
The Metro North Public Health Unit (MNPHU) says the Australian citizen was unknowingly infectious while staying at the Peninsular Beachfront Resort at Mooloolaba, from 28 September to 1 October.
During this time, she visited several cafes and restaurants in the Mooloolaba Esplanade shopping precinct...

Third measles case: Warning to travellers on Etihad flight, airport customers

Passengers on a recent Etihad Airways flight returning to Sydney from Abu Dhabi are being urged to check for symptoms of measles, after an unvaccinated man was diagnosed with the infection upon his return from the middle east.
It is the third such case in two days.
The man was infectious while travelling on Etihad Airways flight EY 451 from Abu Dhabi, which arrived at Sydney International Airport at 11:55pm on Friday August 16.
Anyone who travelled on the flight or attended the airport - including baggage carousels, customs and the arrivals area - in the early hours of the morning of Saturday August 17 should be alert for signs and symptoms of measles until September 3...
