But it's too late epidemic can be halted. Several cases have come to us in Europe.

12 hospital employees in Mako, a city located 120 km from Timisoara fell ill. Doctors say the patient had a novel and soon appeared and the first cases of measles. Preventive quarantine institution that have not spread Virsa.

And in Belgium apaut dozens of cases after a community to back a person who visited Romania. How circulate freely in Europe, such situations can be repeated anytime.

Health Minister says measles was brought in Romania but he has no use.

Florian Bodog Health Minister: " I do not want to accuse anyone, but in our strain was brought from Italy by nomadic population, immunization is the only effective measure to prevent illness. ''

I mean, vaccinate and see you. Unfortunately, parents no longer vaccinating children for various reasons.

4 people who get measles, one needs hospitalization, and 1 in 1,000 patients lose their lives. Yet statistics show that in

Romania vaccination rates dropped dramatically in recent years. If 2010 was 95%, 2015 it was 85%.

The figures speak about first immunization. On the second, the situation is dramatic in Romania.

Bodog Florian : ' ' We are now at 80% for the first dose and 50% after the second dose ''

MMR vaccine is free and currently available over 100 thousand doses.

Beyond that vaccination would save children, authorities have no other recommendations. Not imposed quarantine in counties or even hospitals are not identified outbreaks in schools or kindergartens and they are closed.

Authorities do not take seriously a real danger. For example, a school in Ilfov, parents claim that there are dozens of sick children, and classes are sanitized.

Woman : '' I do not know any cleaning to be done, they deny, were also cases of scarlet fever and measles'

Some sick children in each classroom does not mean the epidemic, says the headmaster.

School Director: " There are many children sick with chickenpox 4-5 each class, we have measles'

The epidemic of measles was declared last autumn.
