    An inmate is being held in solitary confinement in southern Wisconsin after being diagnosed with the mumps.

    The Kenosha County Sheriff's Department is responding to two cases of the mumps at the Kenosha County Detention Center.

    The first case was reported on May 30, 2019 from ICE officials, as the detainee with the virus was being housed in a dorm at the detention center. The second detainee with the virus was reported prior to June 7, and was in an isolated housing area.

    Both detainees with the virus have been placed in medical isolation to prevent the spread of the virus to others at the detention center...
