KCHD: No mumps on Calvin College campus

...Two suspected cases were reported last week. One case was determined to be negative and the other was inconclusive. Late Tuesday afternoon, the health department retested the inconclusive case and it remained inconclusive. A third case was found and the tests on that one came back negative as well.
KCHD says they just learned of a fourth potential case and those tests are still pending....

GRAND RAPIDS, MI -- A Calvin College student has tested positive for the mumps virus, the Kent County Health Department announced Friday.
Students who haven't been vaccinated are now being offered the choice to receive the vaccine or be isolated for 26 days, the college said. Six students opted to get the vaccination on campus Friday...
