      DAYTON (WRGT) - A total of six mumps cases have been confirmed on campus at the University of Dayton, the university said Monday.

      In an email release, the university's president, Daniel Curran and Provost Paul Benson said the university is working closely with public health officials to make sure everyone on campus is aware of the illness and taking proper precaution. University officials are encouraging students to vaccinate themselves against the virus by visiting the student health center. It will provide free MMR vaccines for students on weekdays from 8:45 a.m. until 4:30 p.m...

        Seventh case of mumps confirmed at University of Dayton

        The university says it is working closely with public health officials to make sure everyone on campus is aware of the illness and taking proper precaution.

        DAYTON (WRGT) -- The University of Dayton has confirmed a seventh case of mumps on campus and the University Student Health Center is providing free vaccinations for students.

        The latest case adds to the six others announced by UD earlier today.

        The university said it's working closely with Public Health-Dayton & Montgomery County to provide the vaccines, which is the best way to prevent the mumps.

        The school is providing the mumps vaccine for students only from 8:45 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. weekdays, by appointment only, until May 6...
