SHANGHAI Health Bureau reported a fatal case of hand, foot and mouth disease yesterday. The dead boy is the first person to have died of HFMD in the city, where the epidemic has been controlled.

The Chibi Municipal Health Bureau revoked the license of Huang Yingjun, a doctor with the Quankou Clinic in Guantangyi Town, Chibi city, who was said to have delayed the transfer of the patient to the county hospital.
