    Three new cases of pertussis were confirmed Friday in Great Falls Public Schools students.

    Two of Friday?s cases occurred among students at C.M. Russell High School, where three cases cropped up Thursday.

    One of the cases is in a student at Roosevelt Elementary School.

    Cascade County health officer Tanya Houston said the two additional CMR cases are linked to the first three. The Roosevelt case ?seems to not be connected to the CMR cases,? she said...

      An outbreak of pertussis or whooping cough is plaguing the communities of Three Forks and Great Falls. The outbreak has many parents concerned about sending their children to school.
