    The news is confirmed by the Kalonge health zone but which evokes "food poisoning".

    According to the managing administrator of the Kalonge health zone Jules Bahati, the other 7 people are being followed in the health structures of Kalonge.

    "The anthrax story is not a disease story, it's food poisoning. It's a guinea pig that was eaten and contained anthrax but it's not a disease. There were two deaths of the same and 7 others affected who are still in hospital, "explains Jules Bahati, administrator manager of the area. of Kalonge health.

    “ Among these 9 cases, 2 died, including a boy and a girl. The others were taken to hospital. Health experts recommend people stop using guinea pigs that are over 5 years old ,” he said.

    Shasha Rubenga calls on the population of Kalonge in particular and that of Kalehe in general, to be vigilant in the face of this situation.
