كشفت مصادر مطلعة بالطب الوقائى بمديرية الصحة ببورسعيد بإصابة 3 حالات جدية بأنفلونزا الخنازير الأولى لشخص يدعى "ح.أ.م" (53 سنة) والثانية لطالبة بمعهد الحاسب الآلى بالزقازيق تدعى ر.أ.ر (17 سنة) وتلميذة بالصف الخامس بمدرسة طه حسين الابتدائية تدعى ع.م.ا (11 سنة)، وأكدت المصادر أن الحالات تم إعطائهم أقراص التامفيلو بعد ثبوت إصابتهم وأخذ عينات من المخالطين لهم لتحليلها وتطهير منازلهم. كما أكد المصدر أن مستشفى الصدر احتجز 9 حالات اشتباه بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير، وتم أخذ عينات وإرساله إلى معامل الصحة بالقاهرة لبيان إيجابية الحالات من عدمه مع متابعتهم لمدة 10 أيام.
