    Revealed an official document issued by the Ministry of Health, the consent of the specialized committees to monitor drugs in the ministry to extend the validity period of Tamiflu, an additional three years, to become seven years instead of four.

    The Directorate of Health in Port Said has sent a formal letter to the Ministry of Health for clarification on the validity of Tamiflu, which was supposed to expire in September last year as it is written on the packaging, which led to widespread rumors among people expiration of the property, which made the health department is the formation of specialized committees to examine and approve Tamiflu extend its validity for a further three years.

    According to the document, the General Administration of registration at the Central Pharmaceutical Affairs, Ministry of Health has issued a circular No. 16 of 2009 confirms that the technical committee to monitor the drugs had agreed to the adoption of the Scientific Committee to extend the validity period of the specialized drug product Altamvelo 75 mg capsule production company "Roche" of 4 to 7 years.

    Also issued another opinion by agreeing to extend the validity period of the product "Tamenil" discs from 3 years to 7 years in a preparation like "Tamiflu".
