    Treatment of invalids of swine influenza pilgrims in all health sectors

    Ras Minister of Health and Chairman of the Health Services Council, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al-Rabiah on Saturday evening, forty-eighth meeting of the Council and held at the Council in Riyadh, where they were during the meeting was to discuss cooperation between the health sectors in dealing with the pandemic of swine influenza A (H1N1).

    HH informed the Royal Council to provide guidance to the necessary treatment for the disease by all health sectors, as well as providing all the material needs and human resources to cope with the disease during the next period, where flock to Mecca and Medina, large numbers of pilgrims and visitors as well as near the beginning of the school year and the approaching pilgrimage season.
    And His Excellency Dr. Al-Rabiah health status with regard to the disease and the preparations made by the Ministry and other health sectors.

    It was also during the meeting was to discuss the possibilities that could be provided by different health sectors, where the participants confirmed their interest to participate effectively in response to this disease and to utilize all the possibilities available to them for that, expressing their satisfaction and confidence of the actions taken by the Ministry of Health in this area of the precautionary measures and preventive building the recommendations of the Scientific Committee of the national infectious diseases and which are consistent with the recommendations of international organizations and international health organizations, particularly the World Health Organization, one of the best practices in this area similar to the responses.

    The Board discussed the proposed assignee of the Council to study the functions of the Saudi Commission for Health Specialties and made a recommendation that the body be divided into two parts is related to the health workforce training and supervision of the various fellowship programs as well as training in private institutions and the other on the registration and classification of the health workforce and the recognition of diplomas granted for health workers to be Parts under the umbrella body, the Board recommended that licenses medical support departments in the departments of Health qualified manpower to be able to play the role entrusted to the Board had discussed the steps taken to implement the decision of the Council of Ministers No. 270 with respect to the Saudi Center for Organ Transplantation and the decision was made that the Council shall be nominated One member from each sector within the committee charged with proposing the procedural and substantive rules governing the functioning of the center.
