وأوضح د.عبد الرحمن شاهين المتحدث الرسمى لوزارة الصحة، أنه تم احتجاز نجار مسلح من محافظة حلوان يدعى ميلاد رضا غنى بشرى يبلغ من العمر (23 سنة) بحميات حلوان، وكذلك الطفلة فاطمة سمير رمضان عمرها سنتان وثلاثة أشهر من محافظة القليوبية بمستشفى صدر 23 يوليو، إضافة إلى الطبيب البيطرى نجيب إسكندر جرجس (57 سنة) من محافظة القاهرة، وتم حجزه بحميات العباسية، مؤكداً أن نتائج التحاليل المعملية جاءت جميعها سلبية لفيروس الوباء العالمى H1N1، لافتاً إلى أن هناك فرقاً بين كل من التصريح بوجود حالة اشتباه، والتى يتبعها اتخاذ مجموعة من الإجراءات للتأكد من سلامة الشخص أو الحيوان من المرض وبين وجود حالات إصابة بالفعل، وفى ضوء ذلك نؤكد أنه لا توجد أى حالة إصابة بمرض أنفلونزا الخنازير فى مصر حتى اليوم، وأن ما حدث هو مجرد اشتباه فى بعض الحالات، وتم التأكد من خلوها من المرض بعد الكشف عليها.

وأضاف المتحدث الرسمى، أن الخط الساخن 105 قد تلقى من أول مايو حتى مساء أمس 24894 اتصالاً ما بين استفسارات وبلاغات تربية وبلاغات عن نفوق فى الطيور والخنازير، فيما ارتفعت حالات الإبلاغ لغرفة الطوارئ الوقائية بالوزارة إلى 3877 عن أنفلونزا الطيور والخنازير وأعراض شبيهة بالأنفلونزا، مشيراً إلى صرامة إجراءات الحجر الصحى بجميع المنافذ والموانئ والتنسيق المستمر والمتابعة الدورية من وزارة الصحة وجميع الوزارات المعنية والموانئ والمطارات والمعابر للتأكد من سلامة جميع القادمين إلى مصر، بالإضافة إلى متابعة القادمين من الدول المصابة طوال فترة تواجدهم فى مصر واتخاذ جميع التدابير الوقائية بجميع الموانئ البرية والبحرية وتطبيق إجراءات الحجر الصحى على جميع القادمين من الدول الموبوءة.

وأشار شاهين إلى أن الحالات المؤكدة حتى اليوم، كما أعلنت منظمة الصحة العالمية، توجد فى 29 دولة على مستوى العالم بإجمالى 4379، توفى منهم 45 بالمكسيك و2 فى الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية وحالة واحدة فى كل من كندا وكوستاريكا ليصل إجمالى عدد الوفيات إلى 49 حالة وفاة.
