Continued slaughter of pigs for a fifth day as Dr. Hamed Samaha - Chairman of the General Authority for Veterinary Services, Ministry of Agriculture - which indicated that the abattoir gardens yesterday - Sunday - 58 slaughtered pig's head, and the execution of 69 head of Ashar and young animals, he said, adding that organs of veterinary medicine in the province of Sohag, the execution capital of 6 pigs.
His Eminence, inter alia, that the pigs have been slaughtered since the commencement of the slaughter process in all provinces last Thursday amounted to about 710 while the capital has been executed by the heads of pigs, 317 head.
Samaha warned of the danger of disease, swine flu of interest and neglect of bird flu, adding that attention must be given to both the bird flu disease, now is no less dangerous than swine flu.
The process of disbursement of compensation to the owners of pig farms are still continued, adding that he had been allocated an amount of 30 million pounds initially to pay compensation to owners of barns.
The Major-General Hassan Hemeida - Monoufia former governor and coordinator of the Higher Committee to combat avian influenza - he pointed out that the process of slaughter pigs in Egypt will take a period of time not less than three months, he said, adding that the process of slaughter pigs is the solution to prevent the spread of swine flu in Egypt.
He called for the need for benign alternative employment opportunities for workers in the field of pig breeding, in addition to the thinking now in the recycling of garbage that had been used to feed pigs.

Books: loyalty Sheikh استمرت عملية ذبح الخنازير لليوم الخامس علي التوالي حسبما أكد الدكتور حامد سماحة- رئيس الهيئة العامة للخدمات البيطرية بوزارة الزراعة - الذي أشار إلي أن مجزر البساتين قام أمس الأول- الأحد- بذبح 58 رأس خنزير، وإعدام 69 رأساً من العشار والحيوانات صغيرة السن، مضيفاً أن أجهزة الطب البيطري في محافظة سوهاج قامت بإعدام 6 من رؤوس الخنازير.

وأوضح سماحة أن جملة ما تم ذبحه من الخنازير منذ البدء في عملية الذبح الخميس الماضي بجميع المحافظات بلغ نحو 710 رؤوس في حين بلغ ما تم إعدامه من رؤوس الخنازير 317 رأساً.

وحذر سماحة من خطورة الاهتمام بمرض إنفلونزا الخنازير وإهمال مرض إنفلونزا الطيور، موضحاً أنه يجب الاهتمام بالاثنين معاً الأن مرض إنفلونز الطيور لا يقل خطورة عن إنفلونزا الخنازير.

وأشار إلي أن عملية صرف التعويضات لأصحاب حظائر الخنازير مازالت مستمرة، مضيفاً أنه تم تخصيص مبلغ 30 مليون جنيه بصفة مبدئية لصرف تعويضات لأصحاب الحظائر.

أما اللواء حسن حميدة- محافظ المنوفية السابق ومنسق اللجنة العليا لمكافحة إنفلونزا الطيور- فأشار إلي أن عملية ذبح الخنازير في مصر ستستغرق فترة زمنية لن تقل عن ثلاثة أشهر، مضيفاً أن عملية ذبح الخنازير هي الحل لمنع انتشار مرض إنفلونزا الخنازير في مصر.

وطالب حميدة بضرورة توفير فرص عمل بديلة للعاملين في مجال تربية الخنازير، بالإضافة إلي التفكير من الآن في تدوير القمامة التي كانت تستخدم في تغذية الخنازير.
