Egypt - Case number 120 is being confirmed by MOPH for H5N1 infection (Giza governorate).
I will edit this later when i find more information. but the mohp has published a new report that increased the positive case total to 120 as of the 10th of January the new case is being reported under number 03 Giza Governorate (Arabic: الجيزة)
all other cases as of the tenth of january are no longer shown as undergoing treatment within the hospital.
No new deaths were reported with the total remaining at 40.

The FAO published the report below today, for the 120th human case of h5n1 infection in Egypt. Its confirms the location as being the governorate of Giza. it indicates the initial observation date as being January 8th with a reporting date of January 11th.

Avian influenza - situation in Egypt - update 41
13 JANUARY 2011 - The Ministry of Health of Egypt has announced a new case of human infection of H5N1 avian influenza. A 10-year-old male from Giza Governorate, developed symptoms on 5 January and was hospitalized on 8 January. He is in a stable condition.
Investigations into the source of infection indicated that the case had exposure to poultry.
The case was confirmed by the Egyptian Central Public Health Laboratories, a National Influenza Center of the WHO Global Influenza Surveillance Network (GISN).
Of the 120 cases confirmed to date in Egypt, 40 have been fatal.
