    after what they made public not a hour ago in the previous post.

    The mohp released a reported dated for April third which shows a new fatal case being added under the Giza governorate,the fatal case total goes to (2).

    It also contains information which indicates the case was a person from the fayoum governorate.

    here are the current statistics for the governorate number 04 Faiyum Governorate (Arabic: محافظة الفيوم‎)

    221 total suspect cases since 2006,with seven positive cases confirmed,one case of recovery is listed, with two death shown under this governorate the death recorded under Giza makes three for sure.

    one other governorate added a single new suspect case to its total as of this report number 19 Monufia Governorate (Arabic: المنوفية)

    the current suspect case total is 11,589


    im still left with the age question

      Hi Twall, I've often seen thru the years, tracking, that the age of a victim can sometimes vary, from article to article. I just put 18/20 next to the description. I think it is the same person. Sometimes in Indonesia, we would have 3 separate ages...

      This is very odd. They should know enough to put the fatality in Fayoum Gov....

        Dr. Hussein decided to Sophie Abu Taleb, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Fayoum convert benign to the aspirations of 28 years old housewife from the village of Minya Hait status Atsa Balamranip to the fever hospital on suspicion of being infected with bird flu.


        كانت السيدة قد احتجزت بحميات الفيوم بسبب ارتفاع درجة حرارتها والاشتباه في إصابتها بأنفلونزا الطيور، قال زوجها إن صحتها تدهورت بصورة حادة رغم أنهم لا يربون طيورا منزلية.


        The woman was detained by viruses Fayoum because of the high temperature and the suspicion of being infected with bird flu, said her husband, her health has deteriorated sharply, even though they do not raise birds at home.


        وقال الدكتور سامر رشدي مدير مستشفي حميات الفيوم: إنه تم سحب عينات منها وإرسالها إلى المعامل المركزية بوزارة الصحة لبيان مدي سلبيتها أو إيجابيتها للمرض ولم ترد نتائج العينات حتى الآن.


        Dr. Samer Rushdie, director of Fayoum Fever Hospital: It was withdrawn and the samples sent to labs central Ministry of Health with the extent of passivity or be positive for the disease and there were no results of the samples so far.

          Egypt announces the death of 34 people with bird flu

          The Ministry of Health in Egypt on Sunday in Egypt after the death of a woman infected with bird flu, bringing the death toll from the disease to 34 cases of HIV since the emergence of "HTML 5, 1" in Egypt in February 2006.
          وقالت الوزارة في بيان ان السيدة من محافظة الفيوم جنوب غرب القاهرة وتبلغ من العمر 18 عاما وانها توفيت إثر مخالطتها لطيور نافقة يشتبه في إصابتها بالفيروس.
          The ministry said in a statement that the woman from Fayoum province southwest of Cairo and at the age of 18 years and it died after coming into contact with dead birds suspected of being infected with the virus.
          وتعتبر هذه الحالة هى حالة الإصابة البشرية رقم 109 بمرض أنفلونزا الطيور، كما تعتبر سابع حالة وفاة خلال عام 2010 .وتعتبر مصر ثالث أكبر بلد متضرر من هذا المرض، وفقاً لمنظمة الصحة العالمية.
          This is is a case of human infection No. 109 of bird flu, and is the seventh event of the death in 2010. Egypt is the third largest country affected by the disease, according to the World Health Organization.
          ومعظم المصابين في مصر كانوا على اتصال بطيور محلية مصابة في بلد تعتمد فيه نحو خمسة ملايين أسرة على دواجن تُربى في المنازل كمصدر هام للطعام والدخل.
          And most of those infected in Egypt had been in contact with infected domestic birds in the country depends, in which about five million families on poultry kept at home as an important source of food and income.
          وأصيب في مصر أيضا أكثر من 16 ألف شخص بمرض انفلونزا الخنازير منذ يوليو/تموز الماضي، توفي منهم 265 شخصا حتى الآن.

            the one sally posted sort of reads like it could be the same one i posted. but the age is listed as 28 and it has not been confirmed based on the article.

                  I think they are the same person. Same exact village. It just happened so quickly...that the media is getting a bit confused. Some articles are just reporting her as confirmed.....

                    I think there is another case number which will show up maybe tomorrow or the day after due to the holiday.

                    today also should have been a holiday for the government but the reports were published by mohp

                        yes and it was on a mohp report dated yesterday and confirmed as positive on the second i think.

                        also from the articles one had contact with birds/poultry and one didn't

                          Today's death makes 8 for my list. The list above, doesn't have #107; as died.
                          So #107 and #109 make 8.

                            I have updated the list above, in post 9, to notate the death of case #109.

                            It is the 7th death this year.

                              The Health Ministry confirmed on Sun 4 Apr 2010 a new bird flu [avian
