the emohp released a report on bird flu thru the 28th february 2010

case number 101 and 102 have been added to the recoverd list for the cairo governorate.

The current report increased the total of suspect cases by 15 to 11,510
only one of the 15 are being added to the totals for today. based on the report it is case number 104.

i can only tell case number 103 was added as positive case prior to the 28th

The governorate # 18 Qalyubia Governorate (Arabic: القليوبية‎)
The total suspect case count is 488 which is and increase of 2 since the previous report that was dated for the 23rd. the total positive case number increased by 2 to 9. no deaths are reported directly under this governorate, only one case of recovery is listed, Two cases are listed as currently undergoing hospital treatment in the governorate.

So case number 103 and 104 are confirmed by this ministry of health report. which is attached below.
        Attached

another thing i noticed for the first time when going over this information again, is it only took one day to test then confirm the results instead of two days as in the past.

Re: Egypt Reports 31st Bird Flu Death

the mohp released another report today for h5n1 its only for through the 5th of march 2010.

this report increased the total suspect cases by four to 11,519 with one suspect case being reported for the fifth of march,in the governorate number 22 Gharbia (Arabic: الغربية‎)

the governorate has a total of 1308 suspects since 2006, from this eight are show as being positive cases. no deaths are reported under this governorate, two cases are recorded as recovered cases.

it still shows one case in the hospital in the Cairo governorate on the fifth of march most likely this is case 104.

the amount of the new suspect cases. is very low for the amount of new positive cases they discovered this year so far.

I dont think so the deaths are normally reported on the day they take place the report above was for only thru the fifth of march.

the status will change on the next report that is released.
