Seen some of the villages and the villages of central Quesna Menouf Menofia, the case of mass deaths among domestic birds in the past three days, began the emergence of symptoms peculiar to the presence of chicken blue color known as the chicken and turn to black, followed by the death of birds.

Serious threat is the people's dumping dead chickens in large quantities in the vicinity of their homes, and on the edge of canals, putting children at risk of bird flu.

Dr. Ahmed Fouad, General Manager of Veterinary Medicine Menoufia, it was a medical team to go to the villages which have had cases mortality, to ensure the quality of the disease, whether it is bird flu or not, and in if you are sure will be culling all domestic birds in houses and cleared and then bury the dead them in safe places Sahara, appealing to citizens of the need for the immediate reporting of mortality until they are disposed so as not to return again after the disease have been eliminated.

I'm sure they are upset and wondering how big of and issue the governorate really has.Based on what i have read the ministry of veterinarian services has a staff of 175 research workers and doctors working on the bird flu issue in their community alone.

I also read recently where they claim almost all poultry are routinely vaccinated.with everything currently under control.

this is the same person that has mentioned some other cases which have been un-reported until now.He also gave a status update during December where he indicated then that since 2006 a total of ten positive cases were recorded for the governorate.which resulted in four deaths and six cases of recovery.I do think this person numbers are accurate

I think that some of the cases that have been treated successfully at the local level and respond quickly to meds may not be reported openly as it could really lead to troubles for the family's with infected animals or persons.

one person died a week ago or so because of some type of poultry crossing onto another persons property and they claimed the fight started due to the fear of spreading the bird flu virus.
