              The emohp has released a report Thur the 23rd of February.which increased the total suspect case count to 11,495

              it still shows three undergoing treatment in hospitals most likely case 100,101 and 102. no change in deaths status is shown, no new cases of recovery are listed.

              the report does show four new suspect cases being added on the twenty third one for Qalubia which is most likely the newly reported case numbered as 103

              The governorate # 01 Cairo Governorate (Arabic: القاهرة‎) Cairo governorate shows a total suspect case number of 1,291 which is increased by one. The current death total remains at 16, total positive cases for Cairo remains at four,the total of recovered cases at 53 persons. two remain under going treatment in Cairo.

              The governorate # 18 Qalyubia Governorate (Arabic: القليوبية‎)
              The total suspect case count is 486 since 2006. with the total positive case number listed as 7. no deaths are reported directly under this governorate ,only one case of recovery is listed.

              The governorate # 19 Monufia Governorate (Arabic: المنوفية)
              Monufia governorate shows a total suspect case number of 721 which is increased by one. The current death total remains at 2, total positive cases for Monufia remains at 12,the total of recovered cases is listed as zero.

              The governorate # 20 Sharqia Governorate (Arabic: محافظة الشرقيّة‎)
              Sharqia governorate shows a total suspect case number of 367 which is increased by one. The current death total remains at 0, total positive cases for Sharqia remains at 6,the total of recovered cases is listed as 1.

                  Also, today SAIDR updated their case list and this showed that the status for case #91 went from "stable" on January 20 to fatal.

                  This is 4 deaths so far in 2010 which is the total for all of 2009.

                    Egypt reports one more bird flu infection; tally rises to 103

                    Egypt reported one new bird flu infection on Feb 24th 2010 taking the tally to 103.

                    A Health Ministry statement said a 14-month-old child from Qalyubia governorate was tested N5N1 positive.

                    The boy administered the anti-viral drug Tamiflu and he is in stable health condition, according to the statement.

                      now were into the fifth day without a report on h5n1 being released by the emohp.makes me crazy how they manage what should be a very simple process to complete on a daily basis

                        the emohp released a report on bird flu thru the 28th february 2010

                        case number 101 and 102 have been added to the recoverd list for the cairo governorate.

                        The current report increased the total of suspect cases by 15 to 11,510
                        only one of the 15 are being added to the totals for today. based on the report it is case number 104.

                        i can only tell case number 103 was added as positive case prior to the 28th

                        The governorate # 18 Qalyubia Governorate (Arabic: القليوبية‎)
                        The total suspect case count is 488 which is and increase of 2 since the previous report that was dated for the 23rd. the total positive case number increased by 2 to 9. no deaths are reported directly under this governorate, only one case of recovery is listed, Two cases are listed as currently undergoing hospital treatment in the governorate.

                        So case number 103 and 104 are confirmed by this ministry of health report. which is attached below.

                          the emohp released another report today its dated for march 3rd 2010.

                          the positive case total remained at 104 as of the third of march 2010.

                          the report increased the suspect case today by five cases to 11,515 two of which were being reported for the 3rd.

                          no cases are currently shown undergoing treatment in Qalyubia Governorate.
                          case number 104 was transfered to the Cairo governorate for treatment and they remain hospitalized as of the date of this report.

                          case number 103 has been added to the Cairo governorate as a case of recovery and the number increased by one to 56 all other stats for Cairo remain un-changed.

                          All information for the qalyubia governorate remained un-changed.

                          we do expect the temps. here to reach as high as 37c this coming week all that should be left in Egypt flu wise is h5n1 and our other hearty little flu strains that have taken a liking to our summer time temperatures.
