    Caravans of Sohag Veterinary University examined 425 cases of diphtheria

    The Faculty of Veterinary Medicine at the University of Sohag carried out a veterinary convoy in the village of Nagaa al-Ja'aran in Maragha Center, where 425 cases of animals and birds were detected and treated.
    Dr. Ahmed Aziz, President of the University, said that the convoys included treating 261 animal cases in the specialties of internal and infectious diseases, treating general weakness, internal and external parasites and conducting surgeries, in addition to diagnosing pregnancy, treating infertility and treating external parasites with spraying.
    Dr. Moustad El-Sayed Mahmoud, supervisor of convoys, said that 164 cases of poultry were also treated for undernourishment and viral diseases, such as avian flu and bacteria and parasitic diseases .
    It is noteworthy that the convoy included some veterinary seminars for animal breeders and owners of poultry farms, and the owners of medium and micro projects, which dealt with a number of important topics such as the assets of economic fattening, and avoid and how and prevention of abdominal injuries as a result of swallowing foreign objects.
