Hamed Abdel Dayem, spokesman for the Ministry of Agriculture , announced on Monday, the discovery of 11 cases of bird flu , in 7 provinces.
"The immunization operations that are taking place now do not mean preventing him completely."
He pointed out that "the goal of immunization, is to raise the efficiency of the immune system of birds and animals."
He pointed out that "the Ministry of Agriculture, the injuries of birds and animals in homes, a focus of the disease," without giving further details.
Egypt recorded the first case of the virus in March 2006, according to former agriculture ministry officials.
Avian influenza is a contagious viral disease in birds, particularly wild water such as ducks and geese.

He said, "Abdul Dayem," in televised remarks, that "was detected 11 foci (case) for bird flu in seven provinces."
