    Migratory birds found dead coasts of Damietta carries a new virus of bird flu

    A source Department of Veterinary Medicine in Port Said, had been found dead migratory birds on the coast of the province of Damietta carrying bird flu virus new H5 N8 " " which is the most virulent of theavian influenza known as N1 " H5 ".

    The source said the "seventh day", that the tests that has been through the sampling of dead birds and analyzed central labs results were positive.

    The source added that the veterinary committees and the environment in Damietta carried out the comprehensive survey to confirm the presence of the virus in terms of whether or not the tests and preventive rebounds Committees confirmed the absence of poultry and birds from Damietta virus H5N8 .

    As the source confirmed that the Directorate of Veterinary Medicine and Preventive Medicine and the Committee for Environmental Affairs in Port Said have declared a state of alert through anawareness campaign for poultry farmers and bird cottage areas of sea cow and Aldeph, advocacy and Jerabah to contain the potential risk of transmission of the new virus in order to preserve poultry.
