      The 40 year old person who died is a new case. I am not sure if there are 2 additional cases currently hospitalized or they are the 2 already known cases who were discharged in April which fits the 3 month time frame.

      I am going to add the case of the 40 year old to our case list and make a notation below about a possible 2 more cases in Sohag in the last 3 months.


      Hopefully WHO/EMRO will clarify the H5N1 situation in Egypt.
