تواصل محافظة المنوفية حملاتها المستمرة لمكافحة مرض أنفلونزا الطيور بتعليمات مشددة من المهندس سامى عمارة محافظ المنوفية، بعدم التكاسل أو التراخى فى مواجهة المرض الذى يتضاءل نسبياً مع قدوم فصل الصيف.
صرح د.أحمد فؤاد غنيم مدير مديرية الطب البيطرى بالمنوفية، بأنه تم تحرير عدد 2 محضر لمحلات بيع طيور حية بمركز شبين الكوم وإعدام محتوياتها 84 طائراً، كما تم تحرير عدد 1 محضر لمحل بيع طيور حية بمركز السادات وإعدام محتوياته 155 طائراً، وعدد 15 محضراً لباعة جائلين وإعدام الطيور التى بحوزتهم 536 طائراً بالطرق الصحية المتبعة، كما تم هدم عدد 8 عشش وإعدام محتوياتها 123 طائراً.
