    أكدت منظمة الصحة العالمية ان فيروس إنفلونزا الخنازير مستقر، وانه لا توجد علامة على اختلاطه بغيره من فيروسات الانفلونزا ولا سيما إنفلونزا الطيور ، وفي هذا السياق، أعلنت مارجريت تشان مديرة منظمة الصحة العالمية للصحفيين في موسكو ردا على سؤال بشأن ما اذا كانت هناك اي مؤشرات على اختلاط الفيروس بسلالات اخرى مثل انفلونزا الطيور، أعلنت ان الفيروس ما زال مستقرا جدا، مشيرة في المقابل بعد لقائها وزيرة الصحة الروسية تاتيانا جوليكوفا أن الجميع يعلم ان هذا الفيروس يصعب التنبؤ به، وان لديه امكانية كبيرة للتحور
