      Teachers, by their occupation, have no specific unusual risk factors for H5N1. If a number of teachers start contracting H5N1, that suggests something unusual is going on.

      What teachers do have an unusual risk for is seasonal flu (or adenovirus or rhinovirus or...), as a result of contact with a large number of children.

      I wonder if seasonal flu is being mistaken for H5N1 here.
